Semadep tours and Safaris was founded in the spring of 1997 by two seasoned tour guides: Ken Kantet Ole Lesaloi and James P. Lesaloi. Our philosophy is to take our clients to places in Kenya Africa that we know and cherish. Kantet and James are born and raised in Maasai Mara, Kenya and have interned and work in various safaris and lodges and therefore, are very knowledgeable about the history of Kenya, its animals and people.

About James Ole Lesaloi
James is a community Organizer in Maasai Mara area and has helped pioneer a lot of Community base Organizations ( CBOs) LOCAL NGO, James is also the founder of the following, SEMADEP NGO, SEMADEP SAFARI CAMP, and EWANGAN MAASAI VILLAGE HOMESTAY, for example SEMADEP-KENYA which won several grants over the years to help build classrooms at local schools, build clinics, community Knowledge centers, children sponsorships, clean and safe water projects and many others. 10% of our profits will go to SEMADEP- KENYA (a non- profit) to help sponsor Maasai girls to attend school, see the link for the SEMADEP NGO.
